Hailing from Philadelphia, Matt McCusker is a triple threat: comedian, actor, and novelist. Known to his fanbase as “The Shaman,” McCusker is best known as the co-host of the genre-defining sensation Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast, alongside Shane Gillis.
The show has become a juggernaut in the industry, currently standing as the number one Patreon podcast globally and consistently ranking in the Top 15 on Spotify’s Comedy Charts, racking up more than 5.5 million downloads every month. Matt & Shane recently entered a significant partnership with Spotify to host their video episodes, launching a massive new chapter for their loyal following.
McCusker’s Netflix comedy special, A Humble Offering, debuted in October 2025 and immediately broke into the Top 10.
